Before this project, I didn’t know anything about “Urban Cowboy”. I just turned 30 yesterday, so yes, I’m a “youngster”, as the parent co-chairs of this event have resorted to calling me.
I used Adobe After Effects to put Stephen’s (Head of School) face on John Travolta’s body. I then exported it into Final Cut Pro, where I adjusted the time remap to slow it down, and edited the rest of the video. I edited the photo below using Adobe Photoshop.
This is the full printed invitation. I manipulated the lasso in Photoshop.
