I took this picture as I left work on Thursday (4:48 PM on October 25 – gotta love the iPhone for providing that information!), knowing that it would be one of the last chances I had. I have to admit that for the past 7½ years, I’ve never really paid much attention to this building, although it stared me in the face every time I exited Trinity’s gates (and of course, the multiple times we used the IBM lot for overflow parking). But as of 7:45 this morning, this is all that’s left of it:
Funny how we sometimes fail to notice something until there’s a threat (perceived or real) that it will no longer be there.
