I have a confession to make…well two.

1. Although I type fast, I was never taught how to type properly.
2. I was never taught to put two spaces after a period (between sentences) when typing.

After reading this article, I guess you can say I was just ahead of curve and didn’t know it? That’s what I’ll tell myself. This explains why Dreamweaver and WYSIWYG editors don’t recognize the extra space when I receive copy from others and there are double spaces after a period…and why I remove them when I see them.

The rule stands: One space after a period. Period.
