Journaling through anxiety

Journaling has been so helpful for my anxiety—pre-pandemic, but especially now. It sometimes feels like a struggle just to steal away and take a few minutes to write (you know, mom life), but it’s worth it. I always feel better when I do.

I love the prompts in this journal because they force me to focus on the good in my life before I do anything else.

I have to admit, though, it’s been hard these days to think of something for the “I am looking forward to…” prompt. What is it that you’re looking forward to? What keeps you going during this crazy time we’re living in?

I also LOVE these double-ended colored pencils by Yoobi®! I use them for journaling to emphasize key thoughts, and the act of doodling and creating these “highlights” is also very therapeutic for me.
