I took this photo on my way to film students for a video production. It’s the 1st grade hallway at Trinity (a hallway I saw everyday for three years). I didn’t really have anything particular in mind, in terms of how I planned to use the photo. I just thought it was kind of cool, and it’s rare to get a shot like this, with no one in the hallway during a regular school day. I tweeted this with the photo and didn’t think much else of it: “Guess what First Grade students are studying!”
The next day, as I was preparing this week’s content for the monitor at the front desk, I quickly realized I was hurting for content. There just isn’t much going on this week, especially today. I only had four slides: 1) day/date; 2) lunch menu 3) photos; and 4) Parent Fund participation status. Even after searching through classroom photo albums, there just wasn’t much to showcase, so I was trying to “spice it up” a bit. Here’s what I came up with:
Nothing too fancy or complicated. Just something to enhance the Smart Build that I typically incorporate using a simple blue background.
