Well, they came back. Around noon yesterday (Friday, April 18), our back door was kicked in and a few relatively inexpensive items were stolen. Our alarm did go off, and the police arrived very quickly. Neither of us was home at the time, which is also a blessing. They tried to take Lee’s guitar, but dropped it for whatever reason, so the police took fingerprints from it. I was more than a little upset when Lee finally got a hold of me at work, but we are both doing pretty well. Things really could have been so much worse.
We are so thankful for all of our friends and family! We have had so many people offer their homes to us, in case we felt too uncomfortable to sleep at ours. That means so much to us! Please continue to pray for us.
