One of my students walks in at 10:10 this morning from an appointment with the dentist. Of course, since the rest of us were in the middle of snack time, it would make sense that she walks in the room with her snack. However, after announcing (yes, ANNOUNCING – that’s the kind of child this is) that she had just gotten a cavity filled, I just couldn’t help but chuckle about the “snack” of choice:
This would be a large vanilla milkshake!
